{ROOM TO PLAY...}

our playroom/classroom took a while for me to get right. at first i kept coming up with every reason i could think of as to why the space was wrong to begin with. not enough room. not enough storage. they can't play and learn in the same space (how ridiculous, i know) i really think that what i was saying to myself was "i pinned a bunch of super cool classes, playrooms and stuff and since my space looks nowhere near what theirs looks like i just won't be happy about it" i'd like to introduce you to one of my many passive aggressive adult tantrums.

i even went as far as to begin to move our homeschool to the grandparents house. ohhhh, just a 40 minute drive but a ton more space. <<< yep thats me, always wanting more. never satisfied. (well that WAS me, I'm changing ;) it didn't take long, in this very rough winter, to realize that that set up wasn't gonna work out too well. about 18 snow days later i moved our classroom back to me casa!!!

after moving things around a bit, i am finally happy with our little set up and i think the babies are happy too. well at least 2 out of 3 of them are. my big doesn't really do to well with constant changes. things always sound a bit like "but i liked it better the way it was".  <<< that kid!

now we have loosely defined sections of the room. a place for instruction, a place for art, a place for electronics, a place for reading and all a space for play.

while i love this little space of ours, i am beyond excited to start using it less and less. my desire for our little homeschool is for us to be a play and learn, imagine and discover, explore and do type of thing. so excited as this little story of ours unfolds.
