{OUR GINGERBREAD PLAY DATE...}

we do this every year, and this year is no different.

every year we pick up a few gingerbread kits and spend an hour or so squeezing out icing and eating all the candies!!! I wanted to build homemade gingerbread houses this year where we bake our own gingerbread and select all of our own candies but the way our december is turning out, we have to go with the flow and flow meant $6 gingerbread house kits from target LOL. 

of course I had them wear a few fallcokid tees beacause it was the perfect chance to get a few fun shots of them at "play". today, i am sad and i want to sleep when im sad but spending time with them on our little "gingerbread play-date" was exactly what I needed to lift my spirits a bit.  

I thank GOD for my babies, all the joy they bring to my life and when I find myself at a loss for words and ready for a new day with new mercies, i am grateful for all of the memories recorded and left behind.
