I changed the first word on my profile. 💫 Which totally shouldn’t be a big deal except for the fact that what you call yourself actually MATTERS. FilmMaker 🎬... it says. Just above wife 💍+ mom 👦🏽👦🏾👧🏽... it says.

You know, a FilmMaker-FilmMaker. Like @ava ... a FilmMaker-FilmMaker! And, the truth is I’ve been working, practicing, honing my gift for years now on top of all the time that having all three kids during work, school + play demands. Oh, did I mention that I am also responsible for their EDUCATION!!! Like, I’ve been a WHOLE pre-k through 5th grade teacher who is committed for the long haul!!!

IT'S BEEN HARD! It’s been frustrating! I’ve quit + started again so many more times than I’d like to admit. To think that there are real “stories” inside of me to tell is terrifying. Terrifying because, to be honest, I am perfectly fine w/ being wife and #homeschoolmom.

The time, effort + diligence it takes to keep going means that I just can’t be instant on instagram, consistent as a #youtube creator, or even as EXTRA of a homeschool mom as I like to be!

I’m learning that ✨KINGDOM✨ things take time. That leaving lasting legacies mean long hours, choosing the love of God over the love of money, + a lifetime of surrender/ sacrifice. The path of greater resistance for sure!!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I’ve been working on my ideas, my filming 🎥, my editing, my writing, my storyboards, and my directing skills 🎬 with the most handsome and ridiculously cute cast of cuties (my #fallcokids) who are always happy to help me “work”. THEY KNOW THAT I'M GROWING 🌱. They know that it’s part of God’s plan for my life... for OUR lives. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I am completely reliant on my FATHER to teach me how TO LIVE (life more abundantly) + LEARN (of his goodness along the way). @TheFallCoFamilyiiiiisssss THE DREAM✨... a family who takes God at his word + is down for every adventure of faith that HE would have us take. So here I am “DREAMING BIG 💫 w/ every hope + intention to show them how to do the same!

it’s been a joy to have you along this journey with me.

I never intended to share bits and pieces of our homeschool’s and lives in order to paint a picture that says “hey, look at us!” but rather to make a few friends along the way. friends that will walk with us, friends to bounce ideas off of, and friends to celebrate as they press on towards the dreams that God has given them for their families as well…. THAT’S Youuuuuuuu!!!!
