{OUR NUMBER REPORT // A MATH PRINTABLE...}

this one is a GO TO because we almost always use digital resources when it comes to math work around here. getting the work “off of the screen” and onto a page is necessary from time to time so this is what we use. in most cases we use our white board, chalkboards and chalk pens on windows, mirrors and glass doors to make working out math concepts and problems a bit more creative and exciting. butttttt, I needed a way to keep track of the things that need time and attention and this number report does the trick.

we tend to pull out subject matter that presents itself as more challenging, needing more practice, or just new in general. writing in the skill we are working on and giving room on the right for any ‘helpers” that make it easier for us to remember a rule, a process etc. this one is super simple but extremely effective, for sure. we keep a log of these skills that need more attention and then give them some ‘space’ and room to grow b y throwing in a few days or a week of math bootcamp to address the skills in more detail with a bit of extra repetition and creativity to match. 😊

let me know if you’d be interested in a little ‘in our homeschool day’ footage of a math bootcamp , what we pull from and how we make it through using the reports that we keep.???
